When a young family bought this small 1960’s ranch, they knew as their family grew, it eventually would need an update. They valued its location being in close proximity to schools and shopping, so moving was not an option. With a recently renovated kitchen, the couple decided in the direction of an addition to add a master suite, guest bedroom, office, and much needed play room for their two children. Along the way, the front porch got a complete redo where a large bay window was added to give the front elevation more dimension and style. Painted brick and contrasting trim color blurred the lines between “the old and new” and added much need youthfulness.
