The developer stumbled upon a dusty old warehouse dating back to 1926, its windows shattered and neglected. With a vision for rejuvenation, they replaced the broken glass and doors to enhance energy efficiency. A central open stair was ingeniously added, creating a striking entry point to the artist suites while improving circulation throughout the building. Modern amenities like new restrooms and a parking lot were incorporated, bringing the historic property up to contemporary standards.

Original features such as wood flooring, exposed beams, columns, and brick walls were lovingly restored and showcased within the interior. Initially conceived as workspaces for local artists, the development caught the attention of Knoxville-based leather handbag designer Patricia Nash. Recognizing its potential, she seized the opportunity to transform the entire building into her flagship store, housing corporate offices, design development, and product showroom under one roof.
