R2R studio had the pleasure of collaborating for decades with Aubrey’s Restaurant, a corporate-owned dining franchise local to East Tennessee. Our journey began in 2004, where we refined an existing restaurant prototype to better serve both the employees and patrons alike. R2R studio instituted two major design updates over the years, all while remaining true to the original brand.

In 2016, Aubrey’s Restaurant underwent a transformation, retaining the essence of its original design while refreshing its interior finishes and upholstery. A refined, dark neutral color palette brightened by vibrant splashes of yellow on the walls, infusing the space with a renewed sense of energy and modernity. The same beloved Aubrey’s Restaurant that locals cherish, but now with a revitalized aesthetic that continues to captivate and delight patrons.

With meticulous attention to detail, we focused on optimizing the back-of-house and kitchen areas to ensure maximum efficiency in both space and function. The addition of hanging chalkboard murals and inviting decor saturates the space with a sense of warmth and style, complementing the comforting culinary offerings.

One of Aubrey’s signature features is the expansive patio, seamlessly integrated with the indoor dining area through an innovative folding door system, invites guests to dine al fresco while still being part of the bustling atmosphere indoors.
