Zola Residence

  • architecture

Nestled in a few wooded acres, this residence maintains a level of privacy that makes it an intimate retreat for the newly retired couple. The home skillfully remains concealed from passersby, only revealing itself as one navigates the winding path that leads to the inviting front courtyard.

This unique positioning contributes significantly to the charm and allure of the property, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings while offering a secluded atmosphere.

In undertaking this project, the client provided our residential design team with a clear vision: to create a spacious one-level home that prioritizes outdoor living and is well-suited for entertaining guests. This directive guided every aspect of the design process, ensuring that the final outcome would reflect both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The layout of the home predominantly features single-level living, with the main living spaces thoughtfully arranged around a rear covered porch and an elegant swimming pool. This configuration not only fosters a sense of openness but also encourages seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor environments. The meticulous attention to detail in the exterior and interior design elements draws inspiration from the classic New England style, incorporating traditional features such as warm wood finishes, inviting color palettes, and carefully crafted architectural details that enhance the overall character of the home.
