White Lily Flats

  • architecture

Originally a mill for White Lily Flour, this historic building, dating back to 1885, underwent a transformation into urban apartments after the business ceased operations in 2008.

Through meticulous restoration, four separate buildings were seamlessly integrated into one, preserving the structure’s original charm with features like bright red industrial doors, high ceilings, and exposed brick walls.

The building now offers a mix of unique studio, one, and two-bedroom apartments, some featuring loft spaces, across its four stories. Additionally, ground-level commercial spaces and adjacent parking enhance the building’s appeal, positioning it as a vibrant addition to downtown Knoxville.

Its prime location within walking distance of Knoxville’s Old City and Market Square adds to its allure, breathing new life into what was once an abandoned factory building.
